With so many Korean restaurants around town it's hard to tell them apart. On this point, the Rock House stands alone. Perched up on a hill on Taiwan Lu, this little secret sanctuary is hard to find and for that I am grateful.

Despite being part of a chain, this popular dumpling (jiaozi) eatery is a haven for those on a budget. These little pockets can be steamed or fried, round or crescent-shaped, vegetarian or filled with meat and vegetables.

For vegetarians out there, even if you stress to them 'no meat' a hundred times you may still find a sprinkling of pork in your jiaozi.

Classically appointed interior, complete with individual banquet rooms and your own, personal chef. The food is great, though somewhat at odds with the decor.
