Cafe Kona
|

Review: Dec 2006
As Minijiang Er Lu increasingly becomes a block of cookie-cutter coffee shops, Cafe Kona offers a stimulating alternative to the 'regular'. With well-crafted beans from Hawai'i's Kona Coast (among the most hospitable coffee regions in the world) and an assortment of delicious desserts, Aileen and her staff are keenly focussed on providing something for those who appreciate attention to presentation.
Most impressively, though, the folks who designed Cafe Kona's interior created an atmosphere that lends itself very well to sitting for a while and enjoying a few cups of joe. A cosy loft area with low, cushioned seating has an open view of the downstairs area, which is itself appointed with tropical plants, comfortable chairs and a bookshelf with international titles.
