The actual vineyards are about 45 minutes drive outside of Qingdao towards Beijiu Shui in Laoshan. It is well worth the trip, especially on a sunny day. You can taste different Huadong wines and try the actual grapes they are made from.

Three floors and hundreds of artefacts compose the Qingdao Municipal Museum, the official history museum for the city of Qingdao. Here you can learn about the makings of the land that became Qingdao and the ancient peoples that once lived here. Among the artifacts gathered are some restored pottery and sculptures, as well as some primitive tools.

Amazing. This restaurant is by far the best buffet in town, with made-to-order pastas, delicacies from all over Asia and a great desert selection. Plus all you can drink beer!

The only German restaurant in town, boasting a great atmosphere and hearty food. And of course, a wide range of imported beers.
