Old Downtown
The old centre of town, built around the railway station. Mostly famous for its shopping (which includes numerous underground arcades) there's also a fair bit of old architecture, the most famous example of which is St. Michael's Cathedral, built in 1934.

Lu Xun Park
Built in 1929 by Ge Jingying, a horticulturist, the park was originally named "Seaside Park". Its name was changed in 1950 in order to commemorate Lu Xun, one of the major Chinese writers of the 20th century. He was a co-founder of the China League of Left-Wing Writers.
